KBR is seeking a highly qualified GEOINT Imagery Scientist to provide Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) support for the Mission Operations Directorate (MOD). MOD o perates, maintains and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems, and manages the 24-hour Operations Center which, working with U.S Strategic Command, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness.

As a Senior GEOINT Imagery Scientist , you will support our customer in Springfield, VA understand and implement the most efficient strategies to acquire the data they require using your understanding of various collection platform capabilities and applications.

  • Apply remote sensing principles and methods to analyze data and solve geospatial intelligence tasking, collecting, processing, exploitation, and dissemination problems

  • Perform and conduct quality control of advanced-level imagery and imagery analysis and processing using geospatial/imagery applications

  • Apply knowledge of imagery, products, processes and sensors and experience in imagery exploitation, artifact/anomaly identification, and quality scales (NIIRS)

  • Address customer inquiries and provide proactive communication for user community for mission requirements

  • Experience with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, GIS software, geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph

  • B.S. degree with at least 5 years’ experience

  • Imagery analysis experience in the Intelligence Community at the national level.

  • Knowledge of soft copy exploitation functionalities

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Knowledge of the intelligence collection process

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with at least 10 years’ experience experience

  • SAR exploitation expertise

  • Verification & Validation experience

  • Knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes

Security Clearance Requirement

  • TS/SCI with CI Poly
