Enterprise Architect Engineer

KBR is seeking a highly qualified Enterprise Architecture Engineer to support our customer in Chantilly, VA delivering mission-critical capabilities that enable them plan and execute intelligence-gathering missions from overhead systems and process the resulting collected data into useful information distributed to IC and DoD users.

The Enterprise Architect Engineer will deliver technical assistance to the GED Chief Architect in executing responsibilities for providing oversight and guidance of Enterprise Architecture needs and capabilities in collaboration with other directorates and offices.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Experience managing architectures at multiple levels as well as developing and integrating subordinate systems into the higher level architectures

  • Domain expertise in overhead GEOINT & SIGINT system capabilities, architectures and requirements encompassing spacecraft and ground system knowledge

  • Experience and expertise conducting strategic planning activities and producing strategic products for Major System Acquisitions (MSA) and Special Interest Acquisition(s)

  • Experience and expertise managing all aspects of the Systems Engineering life cycle processes to include Concept Definition, System Definition, System Realization, System Development and Use, System Engineering Management, Product and Service Life Management, and Systems Engineering Standards

  • Experience and expertise adopting and integrating into cloud architectures and cloud-enabled platforms.

  • Experience and expertise in utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and developing and implementing modeling and simulation in support of architecture analysis.

  • Experience and expertise implementing Information Assurance strategy & guidance to include the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, and vulnerability assessment and remediation.

  • Extensive knowledge, experience and expertise using a variety of Agile methodologies and acquisition techniques is required

  • Knowledge and experience with GEOINT and SIGINT collection platforms is essential

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

  • A technical degree: 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD

  • Extensive Intelligence Community experience and work history with National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Mission Partners

  • Experience integrating the architectures of multiple intelligence systems

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and/or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)

  • Experience identifying user/enterprise requirements, gap identification and analysis
