Our Thurston Medical Clinic in Springfield, Oregon, is a well-established and highly regarded primary care practice. Our tightknit team of providers care for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventative care as well as managing chronic conditions. We are recognized by the State of Oregon as a Patient Centered Medical Home and work closely with our community partners. We are seeking a Family MedicineorInternal Medicine Physicianwith an interest in providing high quality care in a team-driven environment to join our practice.

  • Provide clinical leadership and operational support with quality improvement metrics goals to be set with regional administrator for Thurston Medical Clinic and Pearl Street Medical Clinic

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role leading practice transformation within a similar size practice

Minimum Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Highly-engaged MD/DO physician

  • Board Certification/ Board Eligible and Residency trained in Internal or Family Medicine

  • Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients

  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics

  • Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications

  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Respect for patient's confidentiality

  • Compassionate and approachable

  • Responsible and trustworthy

  • Attend work regularly and on time
