SELECTTECH SERVICES CORPORATION Systems and Programming Manager in Springfield, Ohio

This is a key Operations staff position responsible for execution of assigned contracts, team leadership, building customer trust, and organic business development. Priority will be to lead teams that adhere to all tenets of SelectTech program/project/contract management: integrity, teamwork, safety, effective planning, fact-based execution (cost, schedule, and performance/quality), effective communication, sense of urgency, and commitment to continuous improvement. The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of program execution as dictated by the assigned contract terms and program scope. This person selected for this position will work closely with technical, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and logistics staff to execute all assigned tasks. From time-to-time, the Program Manager may be asked to share other operations tasks (e.g. proposal preparation, policy/procedure documentation, etc.). Essential Functions Evaluate new opportunities (RFIs, SSNs, RFPs, customer SOWs, etc.) for execution feasibility. Define scope using a Contract Work Breakdown Structure to translate SOWs and other requirements documents into structured work tasks. Generate program planning documents such as PMPs, Risk Management Plans, Configuration Management Plans, Communication Plans, IMPs, IMSs, resource loaded networks, etc. and work with other functional experts to develop other integral planning documents such as SEMPs, Test Plans, ILSPs, Quality Plans, Manufacturing Plans, etc. Effectively and efficiently estimate resources required to achieve assigned scope. Draft and submit budgets, and when required, negotiate with other managers for the acquisition of required program resources. Evaluate and select vendors and subcontractors for effective execution as needed. Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations (e.g. IPR, PMRs, TIMs, etc.). Proactively manage program risk (conduct risk workshops, develop and manage risk registers, develop and execute mitigation strategies to proactively identify and manage risk areas). Build effective teams that actively work to achieve all assigned work tasks. Travel as required to customer/vendor/work performance sites. Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of assigned programs. Effectively lead teams through all relevant phases (design/development, test, production, sustainment, operations, and closeout) of the assigned program life cycle. Turn lessons learned into best practices and tools for improved project execution. Help business development professionals and company executives generate proposals to organically grow assigned programs (more features for current customers, adapt scope to attract new customers, etc.).
