An individual should have knowledge and experience in Controls Engineering in the manufacturing environment. Must be skilled with robotic welding processes, capable of programming Allen-Bradley control systems, and programming Yaskawa and Fanuc robots. THIS IS A 4-6 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Leader of all controls and automation launches and initiatives * Design and develop tailored control systems for manufacturing * Troubleshoot and debug controls of equipment * Responsible for the creation and upgrade of equipment schematics, electrical diagrams and programs * Collaborates with all departments to monitor and improve equipment efficiencies * Support IATF 16949 certification by following written company procedures REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering field with 3 years working experience in the manufacturing industry * Proven interaction experience with servos, stepper motors, VFD's, safety relays, light curtains and LOTO locking devices * Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills * Familiar with APQP activities and project implementation * Must be familiar with metal forming processes to include both hydraulic and mechanical heavy gauge stamping If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
