**                     Maintenance Technician for a food production facility - 3rd Shift                     Evaluation to Hire - Pay based on experience up to $28 an hour Sunday - Thursday 11pm-7:30am

Job Duties:

  • Maintain and repair PLC's, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems
  • Maintain and repair boilers
  • Set up and operate drill presses, grinders, welders, other tools to make/repair parts
  • Troubleshoot machinery and mechanical equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is essential. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery is often required. Experience with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment is also important.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Experience with developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures, OSHA standards, and food safety regulations such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
  • Experience: Previous experience in maintenance roles, preferably in a food production or manufacturing environment, is often preferred. This experience provides familiarity with industry-specific equipment and challenges.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols
