New Vista's Ethan Crossing Addiction Treatment Centers work with individuals and their support systems to identify factors leading to addiction, equip individuals with the resources needed to address addictive triggers, and reconnect individuals with their support system and community. From scheduling an admission date to acquainting individuals with the campus and everything in between, patients are supported by our team of compassionate employees.

This position works Saturday and Sunday and two weekday days 7am-5pm.

Duties may include:

  • Conducting Group and Individual Therapy

  • Developing Treatment Plans

  • Thorough Documentation

  • Bio-Psychosocial Assessments

  • Discharge Planning

  • Case management

  • Drug screening

Prerequisites for this position:

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (or related Human Services field).

  • Current unencumbered CDCA in the State of Ohio.

  • Maintain CPR/Handle With Care Certification (will be provided upon hire)

  • Professional, courteous, and respectful interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and other staff.

  • Accountability, compliance, and teamwork.

  • One (1) year of experience in group counseling.

Preferred experience/credentials

Competitive candidates will have:

  • Experience working with severe and persistent mental illness, trauma, or co-occurring substance use disorders.

  • Training and experience running DBT groups.

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
