The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Coordinating project timelines, budgets, construction activity, and personnel to successfully complete assigned projects

  • Defining and executing competitive bidding strategy

  • Specifying equipment performance and design criteria

  • Maintaining effective communication with project team, staff, and project owners

  • Establishing accountability through understanding applicable codes and guidelines to ensure designs meet codes, guidelines, and standards

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Three (3) years’ experience in project management in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Current, valid Driver’s License.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, or structural engineering

  • Ability and willingness to effectively present and field questions concerning project plans and status to management

Work location: Springfield, MO

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
