COMPANY INFORMATION

A-Lert Roof Systems, a division of Centurion Industries, Inc., specializes in installing both onsite and factory manufactured standing seam metal roofs. A-Lert Roof Systems sells primarily to customers in the educational, institutional, military, and governmental sectors. A-Lert provides the unique concept of manufacturing and installing standing seam metal roofs with a single source responsibility, making it one of the very few turn-key retrofit roofing companies in the United States.

TERRITORY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABLITIES

The responsibilities and accountabilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain and foster relationships with key customers ensuring roofing needs are met.

  • Create account targets and develop strategies with new and current clients.

  • Build value using product features and benefits and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.

  • Create and maintain a network of referrals to create new opportunities.

  • Must be able to wear all proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

  • The ability to lift 80 pounds regularly.

  • Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.

  • Ability to asses and survey in detail the conditions of existing roof.

  • Maximize marketing data using applicable sales management software.

  • Maintain accurate records; including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.

  • Assist in creating request for proposal (RFP) responses to potential clients.

  • Represent company and perform professional presentations or demonstrations of A-Lert’s products at professional shows and trade exhibitions.

  • Able to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations in a professional manner.

  • Conduct front-line assessments of market conditions and advise A-Lert of findings.

  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products, competitor activities, and relevant research.

  • Always conduct oneself in a professional manner that reflects integrity, sensitivity and respect towards customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors and other key stakeholders of the company.

  • Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Divisional Sales Manager.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 or more years sales experience preferably in B-to-B sales within construction sales is preferred but not mandatory, we have a training program for quality sales people.

  • Experience in territory sales management preferred

  • Understanding of roofing products and roofing techniques preferred but not mandatory.

  • Knowledge of MS Office software and CRM software.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated and a desire to deliver results.

  • Fast learner and quick thinker.

  • Passionate about sales and serving the client’s needs.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    TERRITORY / WORK ENVIORMENT

  • Account territory is dense and full of opportunities. The successful candidate will cover a large and dynamic area in South West Missouri. Frequently working in outdoor weather conditions ascending/descending ladders to examine roof tops in order to give recommendation to clients. Uneven terrain and confined spaces may be encountered while on rooftop.

    Compensation: A-Lert offers an attractive compensation package that includes a base salary plus commission. A-Lert offers competitive benefits plan that includes:
