As a Marketing & Events Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Communications leadership and various internal stakeholders to organize engaging internal and external events. Your primary goal will involve managing numerous activities, including conferences, meetings, social gatherings, ceremonies, sponsorships, and community initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute a variety of events including conferences, meetings, socials, dinners, retreats, recognition events, ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, open houses, town halls, sponsorships, community events, and resource fairs.

  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events.

  • Manage billing and invoices.

  • Oversee vendor relationships and coordination.

  • Arrange high-profile speakers.

  • Coordinate community sponsorships directed by the System Director of Marketing.

  • Provide event support by supplying materials and promotional items.

  • Procure and manage promotional materials as directed.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and occasional overtime, to accommodate the dynamic needs of the position and organization.

  • Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience required.
