Job Title: Clinical Provider Supervisor, OutpatientLocation: Springfield, MO

Job Summary:Are you a highly skilled and experienced clinical professional passionate about leading and mentoring a team of mental health providers? Do you want to work in a supportive and dynamic environment where you can grow your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services? Join our team at as a Clinical Provider Supervisor in our Outpatient department!

As a Clinical Provider Supervisor, you will oversee a team of clinical providers, providing regular supervision, mentoring, and coaching to ensure they have the support and guidance needed to excel in their roles. You will contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, and may also provide clinical supervision to individuals in training, pending approval from the Burrell Licensure Committee. Our ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for mental health, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular, structured supervision to a team of clinical providers, including individual and group supervision

  • Collaborate with supervisees to establish clear expectations, monitor progress, and provide feedback and coaching

  • Assist supervisees in managing schedules and workloads, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements

  • Deliver individual, group, family, and evidence-based interventions as needed

  • Participate in emergency response efforts, providing timely support during crises or urgent situations

  • Contribute to recruitment and hiring processes for school-based staff

  • Participate in staff development and training initiatives, including new hire orientations and professional development

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to promote positive outcomes for clients

  • Maintain accurate records and reports, documenting client progress and treatment plans

  • Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices to inform clinical decision-making

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or licensed professional with post-licensure experience in mental health

Required License/Certification (one of the following):

  • Licensed Psychologist (LP)

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

  • Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC)

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively and build effective teams

  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health records

  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry best practices
