ASSOCIATED ELECTRIC COOP Building Services Maintainer in Springfield, Missouri

We are currently seeking applicants for a Building Services Maintainer in the Accounting and Finance division located in Springfield, MO. This position is responsible for the daily upkeep of over 100,000 square feet of office space including general maintenance and some troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems. In addition, this position is responsible for the upkeep of the grounds and routine maintenance on company vehicles. Other duties will include running daily errands, responding to internal customer requests, completing office moves, and assisting others in the department with related tasks.

The successful applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. An understanding of lawn and garden care, as well as basic knowledge regarding fire protection and mechanical and electrical systems is preferred. The ability to multi-task and adapt to changing workload and instructions is essential. The successful candidate will be dedicated, responsible, and punctual with outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.

This position primarily works Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. but is on call 24x7 when urgent maintenance/building issues arise.
