Guidewire Inc. Residential Program Manager in Springfield, Massachusetts

Program Manager The Program Manager is responsible for the successful management of the daily operations of one or more Guidewire, Inc. residential program(s). The Program Manager must exercise independent judgement. The Program Manager is responsible to work collaboratively with, and under the direction of the Program Director and the Director of Residential Services as a team to assure the collective goals of the agency are met in addition to the successful management of the residential program(s). Job Responsibilities: Staff Development and Supervision: --Provides supervision and role modeling, reinforcing Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS) & agency expectations to staff members. --Regular and reliable attendance at work and on-site. --Interview, assess and hire staff --Ensure all new employees receive proper orientation and that expectations are taught, reinforced, and enforced. --Develops, posts and oversees the daily/weekly schedules and activity/staff responsibilities. --Provides positive feedback whenever possible to staff members based on data collection & successful completion of expectations. --Completes performance evaluations for all assigned staff according to established due dates. --Review and approve all supervised staff time in ADP. Program Support: --Directly supervises, evaluates, and monitors all aspects of the residential program(s) including responding to emergencies. --Counsel and discipline staff where appropriate. --Takes full responsibility for ensuring implementation of instruction, reviewing and timely submission of all required data collection. --Ensures people supported ISP/IAP/IEP goals are met. --Schedules staff to ensure that all shifts are covered according to the site profile. --Responsible for 24-hour on-call crisis phone on an assigned rotating basis. Operational Support: --Ensures preventative maintenance approach to program upkeep. --Ensures agency vehicles receive regular maintenance and are kept in safe working order. --Reports all program and vehicle maintenance needs to the Facilities Director. --Promotes residents? health and safety by maintaining a clean, well-kept environment that is inviting and in compliance with health and safety regulations. Administrative --Ensures that PBS data submitted for review is accurate, timely and complete. --Ensures agency, DDS, DMH, DCF, MRC standards are met. --Ensures proper accountability over program and individual financial resources. --Ensure compliance with MAP --Maintains programs within budgetary parameters, including the control of overtime and over hours. --Maintains a working knowledge of and abides by the Agency?s programs, policies, and procedures. --Performs other work as assigned by the Program Director or Director of Residential Services. Qualifications --Bachelor\'s degree or 4 years\' management experience in human services or a related field preferred --Willingness to learn and apply PBS practices and contribute to the agency\'s PBS programmatic goals --Experience working with individuals with disabilities in residential settings preferred --Demonstrated written and oral communication skills --Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member --Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) --Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality --Experience working for a non-profit organization preferred
