Helix Human Services Lead Residential Supervisor-SHARP in Springfield, Massachusetts

Lead Residential Program Supervisor The Lead Residential Supervisor serves as a leader to staff and a therapeutic agent to young children and/or adolescents with emotional and behavioral needs, under the direction of the Director of Residential Services. Primarily, the Lead Residential Supervisor is to assist the Program Manager in the day-to-day operational activities of the staff and residence, assist youth on a 1:1 basis in the community with life skills, provide real-time training/coaching to Residential Supervisors and Residential Counselors. Full time Western MA The SHARP Residential Program is designed to support youth (ages 13-18) who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community. This specialty residential program supports youth who have experienced trauma, with moderate to severe mental health and behavioral health challenges and may be struggling with their personal identity. Now hiring for Sunday through Wednesday, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent; Associates degree preferred. 3 years of experience working with children in a residential setting. 1 year supervisory experience. Must be CPR/First Aid Certified. Must be Massachusetts MAP (Medication Administration) within 90 calendar days from the date of hire. Requires knowledge if residential milieu concepts. Requires the ability to work in a team treatment approach. Requires a high degree of independence and organizational skill. Requires a current valid driver\'s license with a good driving record. Must possess the skills for effective use of the English language to read, write, and speak (i.e., to express ideas, state facts, and provide information in person/reports/correspondence); bilingual preferred. Proficient with computers, phones, and copiers. Proficient with e-mail, internet savvy, and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
