MA Department of Public Health Asthma Healthy Homes Coordinator in Springfield, Massachusetts

Asthma Healthy Homes Coordinator We are excited to share that we are hiring for a new Asthma Healthy Homes Coordinator Position here in the Asthma Prevention and Control Program at the Department of Public Health. This role will be supporting our newly funded EPA project - Addressing Inequities Through a Comprehensive Community Health Worker (CHW) Home Visiting Model (AIM) in partnership with Revitalize CDC. The AIM project strives to address inequities in asthma outcomes in populations experiencing disparities in access to safe and healthy housing and seeks to achieve measurable and meaningful improvements in asthma outcomes through meaningful community engagement and support asthma home visiting & low-cost home remediation model, in Springfield, Holyoke, and Chicopee, MA. This position will also support the overall healthy homes and home-based environmental asthma trigger activities of the APCP, including implementation and monitoring of healthy housing efforts pertaining to the 2022-2026 Strategic Plan for Asthma in Massachusetts.
