SUMMARY OF POSITION: Perform a variety of home and/or community based direct care duties to support individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities and to promote their dignity, safety, health, welfare, rights, development and social inclusion; provide transportation to individual as needed. POSITION AVAILABILITY: Reliable support person needed in Springfield to assist a young man with intellectual disabilities in the areas of skill-building, personal care and recreational activities, using a person-centered approach. Must speak Spanish. Consistent attendance and good communication skills required. Must have experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities HOURLY RATE: \$20.00 QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years or older Valid Massachusetts driver\'s license Reliable transportation High school diploma or GED Fluent in Spanish Two supervisory references.
