Job Summary: As a Scheduler at Millbrooke Inc dba BrightStar Care Springfield/Decatur, Bloomington, and Peoria, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective scheduling for our clients and staff members. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate schedules, handling communication with both clients and staff, and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team and help us provide top-quality healthcare services to our community. Responsibilities: 1. Create and maintain accurate schedules for clients and staff members, taking into consideration their availability and preferences. 2. Effectively communicate with clients to confirm services, schedule changes, and address any concerns or issues. 3. Proactively monitor and adjust schedules in response to cancellations, changes, or unexpected situations. 4. Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and other team members to ensure an appropriate match between clients and caregivers. 5. Accurately input data and maintain electronic records of schedules, client information, and employee availability. 6. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and staff by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. 7. Conduct regular reviews and audits of schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. 8. Assist in recruiting and onboarding of new staff members as needed. 9. Collaborate with billing and payroll departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of client and employee hours. 10. Continuously seek ways to improve scheduling processes and make recommendations for increasing efficiency and productivity. Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent, some college education preferred. 2. Minimum 1 year of experience in scheduling, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting. 3. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software experience is a plus. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. 6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. 9. Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred.
