Position Summary
The Manager of Pharma Reporting will act as a Data Project Lead (DPL) responsible for the delivery of pharmaceutical manufacturers’ (Pharma) contractual reporting requirements; the implementation of pharmacy technology to meet Pharma’s contractual reporting needs, and analysis & resolution of project related issues. Key responsibilities of the position include:
Review and redline Pharma’s data reporting contracts to ensure Pharma’s data reporting requirements & data specifications are clearly understood and adequately captured within the contract
Determine feasibility of delivering data according to Pharma’s contractual needs by performing necessary research within our Specialty Pharmacy systems and through partnering with our Specialty data systems partners
Create and modify requirements documentation based on Pharma’s contractual data specifications and ensure the requirements are appropriately understood by reporting systems team for design and development
Partner with Pharma’s third parties (HUBs and Data Aggregators) during project implementation to review requirements, project timelines and ensure appropriate testing of Pharma’s data and reports is taking place end-to-end
Act as a business analyst and project manager on the project implementations
Analyze, interpret, understand, and/or triage complex data and reporting requests
Execute and conduct reporting and data issue resolution and root cause analysis of contractual data/reporting commitments
Write up project request forms and ensure capital asks are made for project-based reporting and enhancements
User Acceptance Testing and defect resolution of contractual report implementations
Collaborate with other team members as needed on complex data issues
Other responsibilities that may arise related to servicing data requests for our Pharma clients
Required Qualifications
4 + years SQL experience or other relative programming experience
3+ years working in a professional services environment with clients/stakeholders including Report Design and Development, Reconciliation and Root Cause Analysis
Experience working in a client facing role
Ability to influence and build effective working relationships
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Understanding of relational databases
In depth knowledge of requirements documentation (business requirements, functional requirements, solution requirements, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with User Acceptance Testing
Knowledge of Teradata and Oracle databases
Experience reviewing and redlining contractual documents
Experience working in the healthcare industry preferably in a pharmacy
Ability to understand relational databases
Strong working knowledge of data reconciliation, reporting, and analysis
Education
Bachelors Degree with concentration in Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Accounting or other scientific related field of study
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$63,300.00 - $139,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
