POSITION SUMMARY:

The Analyst, MCO is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the operational process to deliver the requested communications with the desired channel, accurately, timely and within allowable budget. This individual acts as point of contact to the business requester for all assigned communication projects. He/She will help educate requester on communication options or pull in other subject matter experts to assist with custom needs. This position will be responsible for tracking and the completion of multiple projects of varied complexity simultaneously. The position is structured to work within a team concept yet still affords the autonomy to work independently on specific projects.

This role will need to partner across all MCO teams and various external vendors to foster relationships, address questions, gain operational knowledge, and track progress against those requests.

This individual will also be trained on various operational processes supported by MCO teams to assist with execution during times of elevated volumes.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate all activities against defined SOP/Work Instructions related to operational processes to execute communications in either print or digital channels for all assigned projects to ensure completion accurately, on time and on budget. Includes coordination across internal and external partners related to template set-up, member targeting/data, composition, quality assurance and client contractual requirements. Track all progress and details within defined workflow tool. Assist with all research and trouble shooting for all assigned executions, including root cause analysis exercise when applicable.

Provide support to business requesters by educating them on options, answering questions/problem solve, understand & capture final requirements, participants in internal calls, etc.

Special projects as assigned, related to ongoing improvement and expansion

Assist with comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), short term remediation actions and long term mitigation actions

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree Preferred but not required

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Organizational/Project Management skills

  • Strong Communication skills including ability to present and clearly articulate information to their Manager

  • Problem Solving capabilities / Pro-active identification of areas requiring improvements

  • Critical Thinking to actively and skillfully conceptualize, apply, analyze, and/or evaluate information

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple work tasks on an on-going basis.

  • Highly motivated and able to work with limited supervision within established guidelines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint

  • Proficient in workflow tools (Aprimo, Eproject, SalesForce, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Project

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • General understanding of PBM Operations

  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment

  • Ability to influence and skills in persuasion

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Project

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
