Job Description Summary

Regulatory and Quality Systems Leader, developing policies and procedures in accordance with the FAA with the goal of becoming a FAR145 certificated repair station.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop policies and procedures in accordance with FAR145 requirements and GE quality system.

  • Establish and maintain relationship with FAA PMI.

  • Act as a the site focal for regulatory interaction supporting all levels of the shop.

  • Perform site audits in accordance with developed policies and procedures, and provide trainings to the site for regulatory requirements.

  • Manage, with HR partnership, FAA Drug and Alcohol pool.

  • Support site in all other aspects of quality systems management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 3+ years in a FAA145 environment (or a high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years in a FAA145 environment).

  • Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Repairman's Certificate.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Established project management skills.
