Job Description Summary
Regulatory and Quality Systems Leader, developing policies and procedures in accordance with the FAA with the goal of becoming a FAR145 certificated repair station.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop policies and procedures in accordance with FAR145 requirements and GE quality system.
Establish and maintain relationship with FAA PMI.
Act as a the site focal for regulatory interaction supporting all levels of the shop.
Perform site audits in accordance with developed policies and procedures, and provide trainings to the site for regulatory requirements.
Manage, with HR partnership, FAA Drug and Alcohol pool.
Support site in all other aspects of quality systems management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 3+ years in a FAA145 environment (or a high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years in a FAA145 environment).
Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Repairman's Certificate.
Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
