Summary:

Position is responsible for the daily inventory management of all tools, parts and materials pertaining to the install, repair and construction activities within the region.  Duties include inventory control, shipping, handling, receiving, and delivery of materials, as well as inventory database management for the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Manages shipping, receiving and stocking of all inventory materials needed for the ongoing operation of company.
  • Oversees converter room activities, if applicable, by location
  • Maintains accurate records and database of inventory materials received, warehoused and dispersed.
  • Completes purchase orders with approved vendors for required materials.
  • Projects advance inventory requirements in conjunction with operations manager.
  • Maintains sufficient inventory levels to meet demand while maintaining efficient inventory levels and highest possible inventory turns.
  • Disperses tools and equipment to technicians and maintains employee receipt records.
  • Performs quarterly and annual audits of inventory items.
  • Delivers materials to satellite operations centers.
  • Maintains open and professional communication with all staff, including management, independent contractors, technical staff and office personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

High School diploma or GED.  Five to seven years warehouse or broadband industry experience with some supervisory experience preferred.  Forklift experience preferred.

Computer Skills

MSOffice software, Internet and E-mail; database and inventory software as required.
