Impressive Painting & Staining Inc Maintenance Painter in Spring Valley, New York

Determining and communicating to the Property Manager any supplies (paint, brushes, etc.); Painting all walls, trim, doors, window frames, ceilings, vents, closets, shelving, and cabinets; Caulking around sinks, bathtubs, and cabinets in both vacant and occupied; Completing work orders in occupied apartments related to painting, caulking, and grouting; Touch-up painting in occupied units or common areas around the property as assigned; Hanging sheetrock and patching or repairing holes in walls or ceilings; Assisting Maintenance Technician with work orders and Porter with daily duties, as necessary; Depositing ice-melt and shoveling snow during inclement weather; Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before and during every painting job, including carpets, cabinetry, outlet covers, lighting fixtures and landscaping; Clean and prep walls to ensure proper adherence; Paint the interior and exterior of communities as required; Match paint samples for touch-ups as needed; Clean up the work area and all equipment, including brushes and spray guns; Use ladders to reach high ceilings and walls; Apply paint using various techniques, such as brushwork, rolling, and spray painting, to achieve even coverage and desired texture; Roving position responsible for visiting clients located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens areas.REQUIREMENTS:•Three months of experience in the Job offered or related field.•Three months of experience with using a brush and roller to apply paint.•Three months of experience with surface repair, color, and theory mixing.•Roving position responsible for visiting clients located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens areas.
