Job Description

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for purchasing and maintaining inventory control within the internal policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Purchase Materials (daily basis)

  • Warehousing (daily basis)

  • Issue Materials (daily basis)

  • Invoice Reconciliation

  • Receiving Materials

  • Knowledge of Fork Lift Operations

  • Administrative / Maintain Records

  • Pick-up / Deliver Materials

  • Organize and Clean

  • Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions

Education/Experience : High School Diploma or GED and 1-year related experience.

Technical : Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Understanding of purchasing and warehousing procedures. Familiar with 5’S concepts and practices.

Communication : Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Willing to help others. Bilingual (Spanish/English Preferred)

Problem Solving & Quality : Pays attention to detail. Identifies & solves problems. Escalates issues accordingly. Checks work for quality.

Managing for Results : Works well with supervision. Takes projects to completion. Follows all company policies & SOPs. Manages multiple tasks.

Leadership & Initiative : Demonstrates a positive attitude. Acts in accordance with company vision, mission & values. Takes accountability for own performance. Willing to take on additional assignments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to: frequently lift 50-60 pounds; load, unload & move large equipment/tools; access confined Conspaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
