Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for driving the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic business plans and initiatives within the organization. The role provides valuable analysis and advice to management across various domains and manages cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective business planning. The role formulates highly complex statistical and financial models for forecasting and defines KPIs and metrics to measure business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Leads complex data and business analysis to develop business plans, and identifies recommendations and insights.

  • Works independently to construct highly complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance; coaches others on model development.

  • Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.

  • Manages complex, time-sensitive market research projects and prepares synthesized intelligence reports with clear implications.

  • Leads cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities.

  • Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.

  • Partners with business leaders to develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities.

  • Develops go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.

  • Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.

  • Demonstrates a high level of business acumen and technical expertise in areas such as business planning, operational management, and financial analysis.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Graduate Degree required in the field of Finance or Accounting with

  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Knowledge & Skills

  • Abililty to manage spend budget for a Business Unit

  • Proficient in tracking headcout, people, program spend amd extermal fundings

  • Experience with PO management and Invoice investigation and tracking

  • Excellent forecasting ability, track actuals against forecast

  • Proficient in analyzing raw data to provide summaries and narratives for sto ries behind the numbers

  • Proficient in making recommedations through analysis

  • Work with Business team to execute action itesm and close gap to budget

-Adhere to US GAAP and perform month and quarter end close activities independently

  • Strong Knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting, income statements

  • Advanced experience in Microsoft tools

  • Mandatory Advanced Excel skills
