HP Inc. Advance Data Analytics Analyst in Spring, Texas
Job Summary
Our Service Supply Chain Organization is looking for a senior Advance Data Analytics Analyst to become a key contributor to our Operational Excellence program by helping us to make data-driven decisions by analyzing and interpreting complex data. In this role, you'll use a variety of tools and techniques to extract insights from data and present this information in a clear and actionable format to decision-makers and drive excellence on a broad range of highly complex supply chain processes for large and complex global business units. The role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing various aspects of a company's operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The role works closely with department heads, executives, and cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve productivity, and achieve strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Gather data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring the upkeep of databases and data systems.
Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets.
Cleanse data and scrutinize computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify coding errors.
Coordinate with management to align business and informational priorities.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights.
Collaborate with the management team to determine and rank the needs of different business units.
Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.
Convey insights through both reports and visual presentations.
Partner with engineering and supply chain teams to understand business requirements.
Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes.
Strategically drives a broad range of complex supply chain processes, which may include import/export operations, typically for large and complex global business units.
Independently executes complex demand and supply matching activities at the highest level, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
Defines, measures, and leverages KPIs to drive continuous improvement in business operations, and converts recommendations into compelling new business plans.
Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
Works with managers to ensure alignment with global goals and objectives, and develops and coordinates efforts for reporting and tracking.
Provides mentorship and coaching to junior-level staff employees to ensure professional development.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.

Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations) will be considered as a plus
