Join BAE Systems Intelligence and Security sector and be part of the team to support our customers and their missions. We are looking for that experienced individual that can work independently or as part of a team to achieve the successful goal of 100% equipment reliability. As part of the team, you will be providing technical services support in the troubleshooting, installation, integration, maintenance, repair, modification, evaluation, testing, and training of various communications-electronics (C-E) systems and equipment utilized by Department of Defense (DoD), US Special Operations Forces (SOF), and other government agencies as directed.

Travel to various US locations will be required and may be frequent. Short-term travel may also be required to OCONUS locations, including locations designated as Hazardous Duty by the US State Department.

The hourly rate for this position is set by the US Department of Labor (DOL) and is not negotiable. The current hourly rate is $26.80.

This position is based in Spring Lake, NC and there is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Spring Lake or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High School diploma and 4-6 years of related experience

  • US military Electronic Maintenance Technician training/experience

  • Tactical or Shipboard radio (SATCOM, LOS, and HF) maintenance/operations experience

  • Communications-Electronics test equipment experience

  • Ability to travel to CONUS locations at all times

  • Ability to travel to OCONUS locations as requested

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with US Special Operations Forces

  • COMSEC equipment operations/maintenance experience

  • Audio-Video/Video Teleconference (AV/VTC) operations/maintenance experience

  • Link 16 experience

  • VOIP and IP networking experience

  • ECMS experience

  • Component level repair and soldering experience

  • Military leadership training

  • Valid US tourist passport

Pay Information

This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
