When you work as a Quality Control Specialist in our Philadelphia-area lab, you further our mission by working with management and the quality group to support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems for a GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and clinical analytical laboratory.

This will include the administration of controlled documents, review and creation of quality-related documents and procedures, administration and review of deviations, investigations, risk assessments and CAPAs, participation in client and internal audits, and performance of internal audits on facility, study, and vendor records.

In this role, we will rely on you to: * Review study and facility raw data and forms for completeness, accuracy, and compliance to applicable SOPs and methods * Collaborate with study personnel to ensure documentation review and corrections are complete to enable transfer of client deliverables on time * Support the implementation of quality and continued improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and regulatory compliance * Act as Document Coordinator to track version changes of controlled documents, and distribution and training of new versions * Assist with maintaining the master schedule * Assist with development or revisions of SOPs * Participate in client and internal audits * Perform any other duties as required or assigned

To qualify specifically for this role, you will have: * Minimum of Bachelor or Masters degree in a scientifically related discipline with at least 2 years of prior industry experience in a GLP/GCLP/GMP laboratory environment * Experience in a CRO (Contract Research Organization) or pharmaceutical company is preferred * Experience with flow cytometry is preferred * Outstanding communication skills (including written and verbal) * Ability to manage through change and work in an innovative, fast-paced environment * Detail oriented while able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach are key skill sets
