DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will direct all nursing care activities and participate in the administration of the multidisciplinary and nonclinical aspects of the center's nursing department. You will cooperate with an interdisciplinary team of staff to plan, administer, and evaluate facility-wide operations that affect health services. You will direct other departmental disciplines at the center including the pharmacy, physical and recreational therapy, as well as therapeutic activities. You will establish goals and objectives; integrate new programs or changes to existing programs; prepare and manage a departmental budget, as well as proposals and requests for equipment and supplies; and oversee the scheduling of the department's professional and non-professional staff. Additionally, you will observe residents' conditions, ensure changes are reported to appropriate staff, and record daily resident care in the proper forms and electronic medical records.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Hours may vary based on operational need. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of managerial nursing experience directing the development and implementation of nursing care plans and services in a long-term care or assisted living facility, that includes two years of supervising registered nurse supervisors. Special Requirement: All positions require active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Additional Requirements:
