As a Regional Director you'll get to:
- Lead efforts to achieve high levels of service and product quality, financial performance, and other organizational benchmarks, aligning with policies, goals, and objectives.
- Partake and lead in community outreach initiatives to assist in securing events.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards, policies, and procedures at the regional center, including effective management of deviations and timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with staff and business leaders to identify strategies for enhancing efficiency, improving working conditions, enhancing customer satisfaction, and resolving conflicts.
- Ensure the regional center operates in adherence to all regulatory standards, polices and procedures, including effective deviation management and timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate with staff and business leaders to seek strategies that improve efficiency, working conditions, customer satisfaction, and resolve conflicts.
- Ensure division management is responsive to local needs of donors and customers and recommend actions to improve existing services.
- Represents business unit in enterprise functional council meetings, projects, and initiatives.
- Participate in annual budget preparation and ensure adherence to approved department budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Eight years of related experience required to include:
- Five years of leadership experience
- Previous blood center or healthcare industry experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be highly organized and detailed oriented.
- Must be able to prioritize workload priorities.
- Must have a participative management style, coaching skills and ability to motivate managers.
- Must have proficient computer skills.
