Position Details:

 

Summary of Duties:

 

This position provides a variety of routine clerical duties in support of the Dean's Office and will serve as back up administrative support to other areas of the College of Medicine.

 

Serves as the receptionist for the Dean's Office and provides information to faculty, staff, students and the general public regarding ESFCOM programs policies, procedures and services. Primary clerical support to the Dean's Office relating to travel, calendar management, data entry, inventory supply management, records maintenance and various special projects.

 

Required Qualifications: High School graduation or equivalent and one year of clerical experience; OR equivalent education/experience.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

• 65% Faculty, Staff, Student Support and Meeting Management

 

• 15% Office Support

 

• 15% Fiscal/Records/Travel Support

 

• 5% Other

 

Additional Requirements:

 

• Demonstrated computer software skills, including electronic mail, electronic calendar, internet, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint), and/or Adobe Acrobat.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• AAS in administrative, office assistant, or clerical field or equivalent education and experience.

 

• Previous experience working at Washington State University or other institution of higher education.

Monthly Salary: Range# 32 $2,805 to $3,700 A-M | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. Step M is typically a longevity step.
