Aerotek Mechanical Assembler/ Service Vehicle Technician in Spokane, Washington

Aerotek is looking for a service technician to build, assemble, and outfit custom trucks. Candidates must be proficient in vehicle wiring, hydraulics, blueprint reading, and diagnostics of service vehicles

Description:

  • Assist in the production, assemble and maintenance of custom mechanics trucks, lube trucks, service bodies, truck mounted cranes, crane & crane bodies, air compressors, platforms, vans and lift gates. installation of vehicle service beds, vehicle wiring, troubleshoot and install hydraulics components, and custom metal fabrication

  • This person needs to have outstanding diagnosing capabilities and mechanical skills.

  • Diagnostics mainly with the compressors, hydraulics and wiring harnesses. Techs will also assist in the production, assemble and maintenance of custom mechanics trucks, lube trucks, service bodies, truck mounted cranes, crane & crane bodies, air compressors, platforms, vans and lift gates.

  • Installation of vehicle service beds, vehicle wiring, troubleshoot and install hydraulics components, and custom metal fabrication

  • Day shift Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Must have working knowledge of:

  • Basic chassis wiring: tail, marker, stop and turn lights

  • Trailer wiring, 6 & 7 way plugs, Brake Controllers

  • Must have installation skills in the following:

  • Flatbeds, service bodies, lift axles, crane & crane kits, dump bodies, lube system

  • Hydraulic skills to include install of PTO, hydraulic pumps, 3 line hydraulic systems

Perform Vehicle Inspections:

  • DOT and annual boom inspections

  • Candidates must be able to physically perform the duties of the job: maneuvering under and around vehicles, laying on your back under a vehicle for hours completing welding and wiring, must be able to lift 40+ pounds.
