Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant based in Spokane, Washington. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. This role is essential to maintain the financial health and facilitate the growth of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial data entry with accuracy, including recording transactions for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Regularly reconcile banking and credit accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

• Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to provide insights into financial performance and support decision-making processes.

• Assist in the preparation of the company’s budget by gathering relevant financial data and collaborating with management.

• Enter client and employee reimbursable expenses into accounting software and ensure proper categorization and management.

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including development, collection, and invoicing for services rendered.

• Provide support for company tax preparation and reporting.

• Support the preparation of company presentations, forecasting, and promotional materials by providing accurate financial data and insights.

• Collaborate closely with various teams to understand project goals and translate them into financial success metrics.

• Reconcile and manage the company's accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Monitor accounts and analytics to optimize cash flow and drive efficient management and growth.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $65,000

    Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Experience in executing Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance and management

• Ability to record and manage Journal Entries

• Experience in handling Month End Close procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative

• Availability to work additional hours during peak times if needed

• Willingness to continue professional development and stay updated on accounting best practices and regulations.
