Job Information

Aerotek Will Call Loader in Spokane Valley, Washington

Description:

  • Will be working in the will-call area where you would be loading and unloading trucks with different landscape/'hardscape products.

  • Past forklift and scan gun experience is preferred.

  • Past warehouse experience required

  • Shift start and end times will fluctuate based on the work.

  • Will help out in the plant when work in the yard slows during the Winter (Nov-Feb)

  • Quick process and fast paced, expected to load trucks in 15-25min

  • Loading 70-80 trucks a day, loading and unloading trucks all day long

  • Operating sit down forklifts with enclosed cabs, 12k lb lifts, it does 2 pallets at a time

  • Looking for people flexible and willing to doing manual labor outside of the lift

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12k lb lifts. Bigger than what most people have used (usually 4k-6k lb forklifts are common)

  • Very repetitive and monotonous, not a glamorous or exciting job

  • Extremely physical, lifting up to 80lbs. 50-70lbs frequently

  • Having mechanical aptitude is a huge plus as they look for people who can eventually move into operator roles

  • Entry Level
