Job description

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.
  • Answers telephones calls and other correspondence in a courteous manner.
  • Collaborates with coworkers to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Communicates any difficult or complicated tasks to supervisor.
  • Assists with loading, unloading, prepping, and pulling merchandise for deliveries and transfers.
  • Ensures warehouse area is cleaned, organized, free of all trash and recyclables.
  • Safety utilizes compactors and other equipment.
  • Moves furniture and other merchandise by hand or with the assistance of equipment (like pallets, dollies, forklifts, and conveyor belts).
  • Ensures all protocols are followed daily for inventory accuracy and handled in a timely manner.
  • Tracks any canceled or extra merchandise moving through the warehouse.
  • Assemble merchandise as needed.
  • Meets goals set by department.
  • Friendly, passionate, and committed to following our company mission.
  • Supportive to a work environment where everyone is proud to work.
  • Knows company policies and procedures.
  • Consistently on-time to work schedules and shifts.
  • Upholds company safety procedures and follows OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Great skills in teamwork, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Prior warehouse related experience is a plus.
  • Successful candidates will be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (including marijuana).
  • Must be at least 21 years old in order to be trained to operate a forklift.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The pay rate starts at \$17.50 per hour with a 6-month review period.
