Humanix Warehouse Technician - Temporary in Spokane Valley, Washington

We have immediate openings for temporary Warehouse Technicians at this Spokane Valley warehouse! Do you want to be part of a company that is creating products that change the way energy is produced? Do you like a job that involves staying active throughout the day?  Please read on!

 

Compensation for the Warehouse Technician

 

  • $17 Per Hour
  • Monday -- Friday, 5:30 am -- 3 pm
  • This is a temporary position that is expected to last until 6/30/2024.

     

Responsibilities for the Warehouse Technician

 

  • Prepare merchandise for shipment including boxing, shrink wrapping, and placing boxes in the shipping area
  • Load trucks, label shipping information, palatize
  • Receive parts and other merchandise
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Clear and professional communication with all levels of employees, outside vendors, and customers
  • Occasional operation of hand tools

``` - Pull inventory for the production floor

``` - Utilize Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook - Inventory control: Make sure all inventory is organized and that staff has exact location of each product in the warehouse based on documentation - Assist where need as directed by the Warehouse and Materials Manager

 

Requirements for the Warehouse Technician

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of solid warehouse and inventory experience is required
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Avante Inventory Management preferred, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Operate Forklift (can train)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively by staying focused, on task including follow through, and multitask based on priorities
  • Physical requirements:  ability to frequently lift up to 60 pounds, pull up to 100 pounds, be on your feet 100% of shift, work in a fast-paced environment, and work in inclement weather for short periods of time
