Humanix Shipping Lead in Spokane Valley, Washington

We are urgently hiring an experienced Shipping Lead to come and work at this fast-paced well-known manufacturer in Spokane Valley WA. Interested?  Please read on!

 

Compensation for the Shipping Lead

 

  • $22 - $25 Per Hour DOE
  • Monday -- Thursday, 6 am -- 4:30 pm

Responsibilities for the Shipping Lead

 

  • Designate appropriate orders to be processed based on due date and time restraints
  • Create packers, and ship to meet customers dock dates while assisting team members with order processing issues
  • Mentor the Shipping and Receiving employees by having a good attitude to help to shape the department's culture, motivation, and environment
  • Teamwork, collaboration, good communication, empathy, and following proper procedures are keys to a Lead's success
  • Function as the primary backup for driver, inventory, and other shipping associates
  • Contribute to the training and development of other employees

  • Other duties as assigned

     

Requirements of the Shipping Lead

 

  • 1 Year previous shipping experience required
  • Forklift experience or willing to be trained required
  • Experience using FedEx, UPS, DHL, and Freight required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly required

  • Previous Inventory Control experience desired to include understand principles for lot traceability, and identify and support process improvements for department
