Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Quality Inspectorwill inspect finished products, products being processed, and incoming materials for conformance to company standards. Shift: Monday - Thursday 5a - 3:30 pm Essential Functions/Responsibilities Inspect and test product for conformance to specifications and to meet on time production deliveries. Compare results to specifications and complete necessary documentation of conformance. Keep records and make reports indicating results of inspections. Using appropriate equipment and instruments (calipers, strength testers, etc.), perform product inspections and tests. Assist in identifying final product issues and report concerns/issues to management in a timely manner. Observe production processes and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications. Reports necessary adjustments. Assist in internal and external quality audits as needed. Assist in scheduling calibration of equipment as needed. Apply and assure conformance to applicable Pyrotek ISO Standards. Support and assist production as needed. Occasionally working other shifts as needed Monday - Thursday. Qualifications Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED plus a minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis in quality desired. Experience with calipers and various other gages is required. Forklift certification preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Core People Skills. Ability to read and understand drawings, measurements, specification, and tolerances. Ability to accurately use inspection tools, including calipers, gages, strength testers, etc. Flexibility to occasionally work swing or graveyard shifts per business need required.
