Humanix QA Inspector in Spokane Valley, Washington

We are urgently hiring an experienced QA Inspector to come and work at this fast-paced well-known manufacturer in Spokane Valley WA. Interested?  Please read on!

 

Compensation for the QA Inspector

 

  • $17.5 - $18 Per Hour DOE
  • Monday -- Thursday, 6 am -- 4:30 pm

Responsibilities for the QA Inspector

 

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, Pi tapes, gauge blocks, height gauges, optical comparator, micro hardness tester, and 10X inspection loops
  • Document results of inspection into computer database and Microsoft Excel
  • Disposition questionable in-process product by authority of Material Review Board, record disposition in MRB database, and dispose of product accordingly
  • Documentation: Confirm job traveler accuracy, work with peers on job traveler accuracy, complete job traveler splits, complete rework change documents, complete manufacturing receipts, and complete inventory sheets.
  • Calibrate precision mechanical inspection equipment, maintain the calibration database log as required, and manage equipment that needs out-of-house calibration
  • Prepare, issue, follow up, and close correction and preventative action documents, including Supplier CA
  • Perform weld inspection
  • Perform occasional calibration of measuring equipment such as calipers, depth gauges, height gauge, 10 gauge Optical comparator, micrometers, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

     

Requirements of the QA Inspector

 

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Quality assurance background preferred
  • Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) preferred
  • Must have vision (natural or corrected) 20/30 or better
  • Basic to mid-level Microsoft Excel experience
  • Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
  • Pass eye exam and weld inspection tests
