Aerotek Forming Machine Operator in Spokane Valley, Washington

Description:

  1. Review Work Area Instructions, Pick Sheets, Bill of Materials, Work Instructions, Inspection Plans, Customer

Drawings and Specifications, FPSS data, etc. to determine materials, process parameters and procedures for

forming machines.

  1. Press control buttons to activate auto cycles.

  2. Record and maintain production and process data per Work Area Instructions.

  3. Inspect and measure parts per Work Instructions, Control Samples, Inspection Plans, and Customer Drawings to

verify conformance to quality standards.

  1. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and process deviations.

  2. Adjust machine settings and controls; timers, pressure values, temperatures, etc. to regulate the forming process.

  3. Execute set-up procedures for all forming machines (e.g., load tools and programs, running 1st parts, etc.)

  4. Notify supervisors when formed parts fail to meet standards.

A. Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language

B. Basic knowledge of mathematics, including the use of tape measure, calipers and calculator

C. Basic mathematical aptitude and knowledge of commonly used tools

D. Ability to work independently on assigned task as well as to accept direction on given assignments

E. Ability to work collectively with team members

F. Exhibits solid time management skills and ability to determine priorities in order to effectively accomplish a broad

range of activities
