Senske Lawn and Tree Care, LLC Climber / Certified Arborist / Tree Climber in Spokane Valley, Washington

As a Certified Arborist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of tree care including pruning for safety, clearance, and visibility. This position includes assisting with the removal of hazard trees, bucking, brush chipping and using technical rigging of limbs, ground / aerial techniques, and associated equipment. Tree Climbers are experienced with using rope & harness and spur & flip line climbing techniques, aerial man lifts, chainsaws, and rigging systems. They are responsible for responding to tree emergency activities resulting from weather events 24 hours a day year-round and may lead, guide, and train staff performing related work. Tree Climbers display strong communication skills when providing customers with information while working with them onsite. Our customers feel comfortable and informed when you meet with them.

Wage Range: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour. Starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is a hourly, non-exempt position.

Must Haves:

  • At least 1 year of climbing (DdRT or SRT) bucket operation experience in the tree care industry
  • Experience; climbing, rigging, pruning for health, removal, sheering, chainsaw maintenance, climbing gear maintenance, CDL for driving bucket truck, man-lift experience, and experience pruning from a man-lift bucket
  • Possess a valid driver's licenseand have a history of safe driving
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded).
  • At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)
  • Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires
  • ISA Arborist Certification is preferred but not required
