Valley Mission Homecare Pharmacy Accounts Receivable and Claims Reconciliation Expert in Spokane Valley, Washington

Are you looking for something different in healthcare? Valley Mission Homecare Pharmacy has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable and Claims Reconciliation Team Member. Our Pharmacy has an excellent reputation in the community and our team members enjoy their contributions to our patients' well being. We are located in the Valley Mission Professional Building at 12509 E. Mission Ave. Suite 103, just off the Pines Road exit. DME Billing and/or claims reconciliation experience preferred. Medical office billing may have some relevance, but you must be familiar with online portals and be unafraid to independently and efficiently navigate internet to seek out resources to complete tasks. The answers are out there. You must possess detective skills and have the heart of a team player. We have reporting tools to indicate the trouble spots: you have the savvy to use those tools to settle claims and rapidly achieve payment fulfillment.

A/R skills: You understand the DME claims process and use this knowledge to effectively communicate patient responsibility. You understand consumers and the insurance landscape, and you use positivity and empathy to effectively resolve current and past due accounts.

This role combines frontline customer service, helping patients with their medical supply and equipment needs, confirming insurance benefits, and working with other pharmacy team members to coordinate care. Answer phone calls, operate cash register, dispense medical supplies, have knowledge or rapidly learn basics of HCPC billing and coding. Work closely with clinicians to streamline referrals, and process items for delivery or will-call. Submit Prior Authorizations to insurance companies and track progress.

Department of Health Pharmacy Assistant License or other recognized license required (will assist new hires in this process).

Will train the right person. Schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:30pm.
