RHINEHART Finishing Customer Service Coordinator in Spencerville, Indiana

TITLE: Customer Service Coordinator FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer PURPOSE and OBJECTIVE:

  • To develop contacts, identify potential customers, gain opportunities to quote, submit timely, accurate quote packages, and grow successful customer relationships that are profitable and beneficial to the overall objectives of Rhinehart Finishing.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Gather accurate customer information, specifications, needs, timing, etc.
  • Follow up with Production throughout the day to ensure schedule completion for the day; communicate any delays with the Customer or respond to request for status/expedites from customers in a timely manner, coordinate with the Production Team to get those commitments.
  • Complete a daily walk-through of plant to check and maintain Product On-Hold List such as waiting on Purchase Orders, TPI, Racking Diagram, etc. Communicate with the appropriate team member.
  • Request Purchase Orders from Customers
  • Assist with sending Proof of Deliveries (POD) to Customers for each shipment once parts leave the dock; Ensure Truck Drivers Date and Time Stamp is on the paperwork when signing.
  • Assist with Vendor Information
  • Outsource Control; Request Outsource Order Acknowledgements, Monitor Lead Times, follow up on Status, Advise Shipping/Receiving Coordinator when Product is ready for Pick up
  • Assist with New Product Launches
  • Cold calls, Mailings, Referrals , Advertising in industry periodicals
  • Assist with quote prep/completion and complete a follow up on previously submitted quotes to see if award will be given.
  • Handle marketing via social media, tradeshows, industry periodicals
  • Complete inventories as requested by the Chief Operating Officer
  • Time Studies to ensure production efficiencies; gather data by observing on the production floor and using data input from production reports
  • Maintain ISO Customer Satisfaction Chart and ISO On-Time Delivery Chart
  • Filing as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITY:

  • The authority of the Customer Service Coordinator shall be under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer.
