West Virginia Employer Licensed Practical Nurse in Spencer, West Virginia

Requirements: BFOQ: Must be at least 18 years of age due to working with hazardous material. Must have a high school diploma/equivalent and vocational degree. Newly licensed candidates are acceptable. Will train. Background check and drug screen will be completed if offered employment. No drivers license is required as long as you can be at work at appointed shift time. Must be Licensed in the State of WV. Responsibilities: Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for a range of hands-on patient care such as monitoring patient health such as vital signs and overall health condition, changing bandages and inserting catheters, providing basic patient care with daily activities, assists with tests or procedures, consults with RNs on care plans, documenting patient concerns and communicating with the healthcare team. They will be administering medications and injections. Hours will be 8am - 6:30pm Mon - Thurs, and 8am - 4:30pm on Friday. Off on weekends. Wage is competitive with good benefits. Both will be discussed at interview.
