West Virginia Employer Certified Medical Assistant in Spencer, West Virginia

Requirements: BFOQ: Must be at least 18 years of age due to workinng with hazardous material. Must have a high school diploma/equivalent. Newly certified candidates are acceptable. Will train. Background check and drug screen will be completed if offering employment. No drivers license is required as long as you can be at work at appointed shift time. Must be certified in the State of WV. Responsibilities: The Certified Medical Assistants will work alongside doctors, nurses, and the other health care professionals to assist with a mix of clinical duties and administrative tasks. he day-to-day responsibilities vary depending on the setting of the day and duties required. You will be taking patient medical histories and personal information, measuring vital signs, such as temperature, weight, and blood pressure, assisting doctors with patient examinations, scheduling appointments for patients, preparing laboratory samples for testing, etc., and all other duties as assigned. Hours will be 8am - 6:30pm Mon - Thurs, and 8am - 4:30pm on Friday. Off on weekends. Wage is competitive with good benefits. Both will be discussed at interview.
