Diamond Enterprises Concession Manager in Spearfish, South Dakota

The Spearfish Sasquatch Baseball Club is searching for an individual to serve as our Concessions Manager. Applicant must be 21 years old and available for ALL regular season home games and home playoff games (if-necessary). Hours vary and are dependent on the schedules of Post 164 American Legion Baseball, Spearfish Sasquatch Baseball, and Spearfish Spartan and BHSU Soccer.

GAME DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage set up of all concession and party deck areas.
  • Manage and assist with concessions food prep prior to games.
  • Ensure that all scheduled concessions associates are present and ready for work.
  • Manage post-game meals for players in party deck area after game
  • Manage tear-down and cleanup of all concession and party deck areas
  • Ensure concession area is cleaned properly according to Health Dept. regulations.
  • Maintain an ongoing inventory of all food and beverage.
  • Responsible for closing out POS and consolidating deposits at end of night.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor food and beverage inventory and place orders with vendors.
  • Ensuring that proper quantities of food are available during games.
  • Properly managing food inventory levels (hot foods, candy, beverages, etc.)
  • Communicate with Ticketing Department on estimated attendance, including party deck numbers for prep.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of concession area.
  • Ensure that concession stand is staffed properly and is being operated in an efficient manner.
  • Assist in creating new concession specials corresponding to the promotional schedule or theme nights.
  • Must work/schedule concession stand coverage for all Post 164 baseball and Spearfish HS and BHSU soccer games.

REQUIRED SKILLS* Excellent customer service skills and communication skills required.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to make sure concession areas are prepped efficiently.
  • Ability to operate a cash register.
  • ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain before start date.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
