About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Technician position to join our Engineering Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Providing a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
Maintaining good working relationships with all the colleagues
Complying with local legislation as required
Responding to any departmental changes as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or hotel
Being flexible and extending job duties to carry out any reasonable duties within the hob of capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas
Attending trainings and meetings as required
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualification
Professional background in MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) or civil work issues
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar position or as a Engineering or Maintenance Technician
Skills
Time management and organizational skills
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and outgoing
To have a positive and adaptable approach to problem solving
Team worker
Extremely detailed
Desirable
- Intermedoate Knowledge of any other Languages (English)

Maintaining and repairing
Lighting and power distribution systems and equipment
Electrical equipment and appliances
Heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems and equipment
To maintain and repair all electrical equipment and appliances.
Hot and cold-water systems and equipment
Rainwater and sewage systems and equipment
Catering equipment
Recreational systems and equipment
Audio-visual equipment
Carrying out
Minor building, carpentry and decorating works as required
Installation works as required
Recording job requests, defects and works carried by operations manual
Following the correct procedure for the requisition and issue of spare parts and materials based on the departmental operations manual
Adhering to the health and safety at work regulations
Maintaining clean workplace
Providing cover for absent colleagues when required
Staying on call in case of emergency within the property
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Professional capabilities in the field
