We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to join our fast-paced software development team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding, coaching, and facilitating our software development teams using Agile methodologies, primarily Scrum. You will be instrumental in helping our teams maximize productivity and deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Guide and conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment where the team can work effectively together.

  • Impediment Removal: Actively identify and remove obstacles that hinder the team’s progress.

  • Continuous Improvement: Encourage and lead the team in continuous improvement practices.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the development team, team leaders and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project progress and impediments.

  • Agile Best Practices: Promote and uphold Agile values and principles within the team and across the organization.

  • Track and Report: Monitor sprint progress and provide timely and accurate reports to management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

  • 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Leadership and facilitation skills.

  • Expert with using Agile tools (preferably Azure Dev Ops) to create sprints, user stories, and tasks, and to run reports.

  • Ability to create tables and graphs to show progress and productivity.

  • Knowledge and understanding of software development processes and procedures.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry, with knowledge of oilfield equipment and processes.
