Our state-of-the-art medical facilities and onsite restorative nursing services complement the full spectrum of therapy. Medicare/Medicaid certified, we offer premier physical, occupational and speech therapies. Position Summary: The Regional Director will provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to the Executive Directors for operational, financial and performance improvement practices for each skilled nursing community (owned and managed) within Hartford HealthCare Senior Servies. The Regional Director is responsible for oversight of current facilities, acquisitions and new management agreements, as well as the integration of new and existing HHC and HHCSS programs and services into the skilled nursing facilities. Key Accountabilities: * Provides direct oversight of financial goals and the development of budgets for each assigned facility * Promotes and oversees growth strategy by expanding and managing new and existing contracts, programs, and services related to HHCSS and HHC system partners * Identifies opportunities to increase facility efficiencies and supports initiatives that promote resident centered care and employee engagement * Works directly with the Senior Services leadership team and HHC system partners in the management of the facilities with a focus on HHC alignment and standardization * Works closely with each facility to analyze operational trends, quality and support monthly business review countermeasure reporting * Responsible for oversight and management of HHCSS’s performance efforts with a focus on specific areas including but not limited to the following: clinical and operational quality outcome measurements, 5 Star rating, best practices management, standards of care outcomes and effective action plans, resident and staff engagement, financial performance * Works with the Executive Directors to implement system initiatives into the SNF environment (IE: Policy, BSC, Lean, Daily Management) * Serves as the liaison, collaborator, workgroup leader, and/or workgroup participant with HHC system and community partners on programs that are in alignment with HHCSS and HHC * Bachelor’s degree is required * Five plus years of leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment is require * Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator license with the State of Connecticut or current license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut * Experience with QAPI, quality indicators and clinical competencies and outcomes * Understanding of State and Federal regulations and requirements for SNF environments * Ability to understand and negotiate contracts i.e. insurance and payers * Strong experience as a leader and developer of high performing teams and employees * Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills * Experience developing and using metrics to measure performance of teams, processes, and services * Strong financial analysis skills and strategic planning. Solid understanding of operational impact on profit and loss and experience creating and managing a budget * Strong problem solving and decision-making skills * Solid change management skills We take great care of careers.
