Join Our Team: Process Simulation Designer Operator Wanted!

Our client, a leading provider of industrial automation solutions and systems worldwide, is seeking a Process Simulation Designer Operator to drive innovation in manufacturing processes. As a Process Simulation Designer Operator, you will play a crucial role in our Engineering department, supporting the development of advanced robotics and digital solutions. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in tooling fixture design and expertise in Siemens Process Simulate software.

Job Title: Process Simulation Designer Operator

Location: Southfield, MI (hybrid work model)

Pay Range: $ 30 - 32/ hr

What’s the Job?

  • Conduct feasibility studies and process engineering assessments.

  • Define robotics and human operations within the 3D environment.

  • Select and place equipment, including robots, conveyors, and tools.

  • Develop 3D layouts and reach studies for robotic simulations.

  • Validate processes in work cells/stations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

What’s Needed?

  • Approximately 4 to 5+ years of experience in process simulation and tooling fixture design.

  • Proficiency in Siemens Process Simulation Software as an Operator/Designer.

  • Experience in at least one of the major 3D Modeling tools (NX, Catia, Solidworks).

  • Experience in at least one of the major 3D Simulation tools (Process Simulate, Delmia, Robcad). Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and BIW systems.

  • Knowledge of auto assembly strategies and part flow within an assembly plant/body shop.

  • Ability to travel (5-20%) for project needs and technical support.
