Environmental Tectonics Corp. Senior Accountant in Southampton, Pennsylvania

Environmental Tectonics Corporation (ETC US), a growing company located just outside of Philadelphia, PA is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our talented Accounting team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated candidate looking for an opportunity to join a successful global company.   Your duties will be to:

  • Involvement in preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Assisting with the development and evaluation of budgets and preparing budget reports
  • Supporting the accounting department with all aspects of the general ledger
  • Ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies and standards
  • Preparing for and assisting with audits
  • Analyzing project cost budgets, estimates to complete, budget vs. actual results
  • Retrospective review of project results to help develop estimates for future projects

The successful applicant will have:

  • College degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Previous experience as an Accountant, Assistant Controller or similar role.
  • Commercial and/or industrial manufacturing or percentage of completion accounting experience is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of accounting software programs
  • Strong communication (both written and oral) skills are required
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent math and accounting skills
  • Able to work with others to produce results in a professional, productive, cooperative environment
